Is Manuka Honey Really a Panacea from All Diseases?

It is not a secret that honey, as a product of beekeeping, has a great healing power. Why is it called manuka? The reason why the best Manuka honey got such a name and its extremely useful properties is to be found in those places where the tea bush of Manuka grows.

The bees flock on flowers and collect a special nectar containing a natural antibiotic that provides Manuka honey with an extraordinary healing power. By the way, in the translation from the language of Maori, "Manuka" means "good mood, enthusiasm", in a word, it means something positive, invigorating and joyful.

If you don't have any health problems but just want to feel better and more energized it is recommended to eat 1 tbsp of honey manuka on an empty stomach, dissolving it in your mouth like a candy. Or dissolve it in warm water (½ teaspoon of honey to a glass of water) and drink instead of plain water.
